Fees & Refunds

The standard registration fee is $150.00.  Please send your registration in as soon as possible.  Your registration is not complete until we have received your signed waiver form and fee.  Although a division may be listed as open, registrations are being processed as they are received and divisions may close before this site is updated.

Your fee covers player uniform, practice ball, registration with national AYSO, use of fields, team supplies, subscription to Soccer Now magazine and administrative expenses. You are registering for both the Fall and Spring portion of the season. There is no need to re-register in the Spring if you had registered and are placed on a team in the Fall.

Although we encourage your full consideration before completing registration, if your plans should change prior to August 1st, 2010 a refund will be processed. Please e-mail the Regional Registrar or the Treasurer with your request. REFUNDS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED AFTER August 1st, 2010, unless you are not placed on a team due to a waiting list situation.

Registration Deadlines
Registrations must be postmarked on or before July 15, 2010, in order to receive the standard registration fee of $150.00. Registrations postmarked after July 15, 2010, will be assessed an additional $50.00 late fee. 

Standard registration closes on July 15, 2010.

Registrations postmarked after July 15, 2010 will be assigned to teams on a space-available basis. You may be placed on a waiting list. Special requests will not be considered after July 15. Players registered after July 15 may not learn their team assignment until after the first weekend of games.

Division Status is noted below. If you register for a Closed division, you will be placed on a first-come, first-served waiting list. If you are not placed on a team, your fee will be refunded.

Please Volunteer!!!
The AYSO program depends entirely on volunteers and there are never enough. Please make our job easier, and more importantly, your child's experience richer, by volunteering to coach, referee, serve as a committee member, contribute as a board member or help on an as-needed basis. Simply click the appropriate space on the registration form!

Age Brackets/Divisions
Your child will be assigned a team based on age, not grade in school. Age brackets for this season are:

Upon request, players may "play up" into an older division. Please note this in the Play Up section of the registration form. Under no circumstances will a player be allowed to "play down" into a younger division. Any questions about this policy should be directed to the Regional Registrar.

Each division, including U-14 will be divided in Boys and Girls divisions. We are hoping to register enough players to field at least 4 teams in each gender. Teams in the U12 and U14 divisions will play some inter-region games with other AYSO regions in the area.

Team Formation
Teams are formed based on three factors: Skill (from coach evaluation and experience), age and geographic location. Our divisional managers / team formers make every attempt to insure balanced teams while at the same time considering special requests in the U-5, U-6, U-8, and U-10 divisions (depending on the date of registration). Special requests will not be accepted in the U-10, U-12 and U-14 divisions. Once teams are formed, changes will be made only with the approval of the Regional Registrar and Divisional Managers.
