Important Coach Information for 2008/2009 Season

| Complete an Online Volunteer Application
with AYSO, at http://www.eayso.org. Print and mail your completed volunteer form to Debbie Gallagher, 150 Boardman Court, Lake Bluff, IL 60044. She will respond with your AYSO volunteer number. You may need this number for additional online training, so please complete and mail your form as soon as possible! ALL Volunteers are required to submit this form annually, so please complete and send yours even if you have done so in previous years.
Complete Safe Haven Training
Now available Online! Log on to www.aysotraining.org and complete the SafeHaven training if you have not already had this training. Please bring your certificate of completion to the coach meeting in August. SafeHaven training is REQUIRED for all coaches, assistant coaches and referees. You need only complete the training once in your AYSO career.
Complete Coach Certification Training U8 & U10 Coaches training is available online; log on to http://www.aysotraining.org to complete the written portion of this training. U5 / U6 Coach training will be held in August, at the Lake Forest Health & Fitness Center, immediately following the coach meeting. The Skills portion of certification for U6 and U10 coaches will be held August 23, at Northcroft Park. The workshops will be conducted by professional coaches and trainers from the Chicago Fire! You dont want to miss this! It will satisfy the field work requirement for U6 and U10 Coach Training. 8:30 am to 9:30 am U5 / U6 Coach Field Work, Northcroft Park, LF 9:30 am to 10:30 am U10 Coach Field Work, Northcroft Park, LF 10:30 am to 12:30 am U12 & U14 Keeper (field clinic for coaches) Northcroft U8 Coach Training: August 23, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm U8 Coach Course with manditory U8 level referee training included. Lake Bluff Public Safety Building, Lake Bluff. U12 Coach Training: Sunday, August 24, noon to 5:00 pm, Lake Bluff Public Safety Building. | Attend Coach Meetings All Coach Meetings will be held at the Lake Forest Health and Fitness Center Monday, August 25, 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm U5 / U6 Coach Meeting followed by the U5 / U6 Coach Course Tuesday, August 26, 6:30 pm to 9:45 pm, U8 Coach Meeting Wednesday, August 27, 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, U10, U12 & U14 Coach Meetings. All three levels will meet as one group.

| Coach Equipment
During the season additional coach equipment - balls, ice packs, first aid kits, cones -is available at the concession stand at West Campus or from Debbe Gallagher at 847-234-2456 or equipment@ayso163.org.
Uniform Distribution
U10, U12, & U14 uniforms are given out by the coaches. Contact Debbie Gallagher at 847-234-2456 if you need a uniform. |
